Psalm 123:1-4

... in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  Amen.  Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us.  Amen.  Glory to You, our God, Glory to You.

O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, You are everywhere and fill all things, Treasury of blessings, and Giver of life: come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us (three times).

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, as it is now, was in the beginning, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen.

Psalm 123:1-4[1]

A Song of Ascent.

To You, I lift up my eyes, You Who dwell in the heavens.

Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maiden [look] to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes [look] on the Lord our God, until He have mercy on us.

Have mercy on us, Lord.  Have mercy on us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.  Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.[2]

[1] Even during the consummation of the kingdom, between the First and Second Advents, there is still trouble in the kingdom.  Trouble sufficiently grievous that it require mention in a Psalm of Ascent.
